The Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative organizes the annual AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT (AWS) to present solutions for the planet and to connect relevant stakeholders – thus being a matchmaker for a livable planet. To reach and inspire that many people with a superstar such as Arnold Schwarzenegger is also the USP of the AWS. Now the AWS gets its own, beautiful home.

To facilitate the matchmaking and solution finding in a more targeted and structured way, the AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT Solutions Hub was founded in Asparn an der Zaya (around 50 km outside of Vienna). Arnold Schwarzenegger officially opened the Hub on May 17^th 2023.

A refurbished, versatile estate not only serves as a lively meeting point for networking or lectures/workshops, but also presents best practice examples in the areas of renewable energy and modern energy storage facilities, food security & nutrition (local and organic), biodiversity, water management and green finance. The impact of the AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT takes place on a daily basis and becomes more visible.
