Maximilian Wilk

Maximilian Wilk is co-founder and managing director of AQON PURE. AQON PURE is the environmentally friendly water softening system without salt for retrofitting to any domestic water connection in the event of limescale in the water. Maximilian previously studied Management & Technology at the Technical University of Munich. During his Master’s thesis in 2016 in Silicon Valley, California, he became aware of a law passed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2009 that banned water softening systems with salt in California. In 2017, he therefore founded AQON PURE with his brother Konstantin. AQON PURE is a finalist for the German Sustainability Award 2025 in the Products category and the fastest-growing water treatment company in Europe in 2024 (Financial Times Ranking FT1000).
