Todd Wagner

Co-Founder FoodFight USA

Co-Founder & CEO 2929 Entertainment

Todd Wagner is a visionary tech and media entrepreneur who has spent his career challenging norms and driving innovation across multiple industries. He introduced streaming media to the world when he co-founded Broadcast.com with Mark Cuban in the late 1990s. As CEO, Wagner led the company’s record-breaking IPO and $5.7 billion sale to Yahoo!, landing him on the cover of The Wall Street Journal, Forbes 400 and Fortune’s 40 Under 40.

In 2003, Wagner co-founded 2929 Entertainment, vertically integrating a portfolio of companies in content production, distribution, and exhibition, including Magnolia Pictures and 2929 Productions. As CEO he pioneered the practice of releasing films simultaneously in theaters and on digital platforms and has produced or executive-produced more than 50 films. Good Night, and Good Luck was nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Picture, and its stage adaptation starring George Clooney is currently in a box office record-breaking run on Broadway.

In 2023, Wagner launched FoodFight USA, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a mission to clean up America’s tainted food supply, which has contributed to an alarming rise in chronic disease and early death in our country. As with his earlier ventures, Wagner is driving innovative, technology-driven solutions to address every aspect of our broken food system – from farm to table – with a focus on legislative reform, consumer empowerment, and regenerative agriculture. Among his visionary initiatives is an AI-powered system to evaluate the 10,000 chemical additives in our food supply, prioritizing those that pose the greatest risk to public health.
