Najma Mohammed

Dr. Najma Mohamed works on ideas and solutions that address climate change, fight inequality, and restore nature. She has over two decades of experience working at the science, policy and practice interface supporting policies and practices for a just transition to green and inclusive economies. She is based in the UK where she is Head of Nature-Based Solutions at UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre WCMC. She is also a Senior Atlantic Fellow in Social and Economic Equity.  Najma has been active in building awareness and writing about the ecological message of Islam, supporting faith-based climate and environment justice efforts.
