
Michael Höllerer

Raiffeisen Niederösterreich – Wien
Michael Höllerer has served as CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien and Raiffeisen-Holding Niederösterreich-Wien since March 2022. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive General Manager at Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), the central institution of Austria’s largest banking group.
In 2018, Höllerer joined the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank Polska in Warsaw, where he played a key role in the bank’s sale and the establishment of its local operations. He had previously been appointed to the Management Board of Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB) in 2015. Earlier in his career, he was managing director of Raiffeisen Capital Management.
After completing his law degree, Höllerer began his professional career at institutions including the Austrian Financial Market Authority, Raiffeisen Zentralbank, and the Federal Ministry of Finance. He currently serves on several national and international supervisory boards.
In 2024, he was elected Chair of the Federal Division for Banks and Insurance in the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber – the statutory representative body of Austria’s banking, insurance, and pension fund sectors, comprising 818 member institutions.
Michael Höllerer will assume his new role as CEO of Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) on July 1, 2026.
